France Noyer is above all an "Artisanal" company, where "artisanal" means a love for the craft and a commitment to quality work. The human factor is a key point of the company, with expertise being passed down from person to person with a single objective: the quality of the finished product. In the processing of rare woods, no machine can replace the human eye and its expertise.
Since December 2022, our company has joined Fermes de Figeac, with whom we share our values and our commitments. The Segala Limargue Lotois agricultural cooperative, founded in 1985, has always pursued a development strategy based on diversifying its activities around the region’s resources, including wood, creating local added value, and seeking new cooperations. Together, we strengthen sustainable activities with wood and maintain a unique expertise in the region..
Since 2022, France Noyer has been recognised as a Living Heritage Company (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant - EPV) by the State. This label highlights the excellence of artisanal and industrial know-how, often in the same family, that is an integral part of the country's cultural and economic identity. This recognition showcases traditional and unique skills that are kept alive and often passed down from generation to generation.
We voluntarily committed to the Eco Challenges label in 2020, and our company is dedicated to the sustainable development of its activities. The Eco Challenges label recognizes and values small businesses and merchants who voluntarily engage in concrete actions in favor of the environment through eco-responsible practices and energy savings.
On the occasion of Heritage Days, France Noyer is delighted to open its doors for an exceptional day that promises to immerse visitors in its unique craftsmanship. Following the success of our previous event, which welcomed 500 visitors, we look forward to showcasing the last veneer slicing machine still operational in France. This open house is a unique opportunity to meet us, explore our passion for wood, and understand our commitment to perpetuating and enriching our cultural and professional heritage. Join us to celebrate the richness of our living heritage together.
We had the pleasure of welcoming the kindergarten and primary classes from Assier School for a week of discovery centered around wood. The students explored our factory, observed the work of our professionals, and participated in a creative workshop using different types of veneer species.
This initiative allowed us to introduce the various professions at France Noyer, and provided a moment for sharing our passion of woodworking and their curiosity.
We are proud to have hosted students from the School of Ecological Transition (ETRE) at France Noyer, an enriching moment discovering our skills!
